FCV MEMBERS FEELING HAPPY AT THE HAMMERS
Barclays Premier League giants Liverpool attended the FCV Trials Day at Upton Park, home of newly promoted West Ham United, and were impressed with two players from the day. Both players were from the Under 16's age group and have now had further details on them sent through to the scout for his perusal.
NPower League One side Brentford very much liked the look of a Central Midfielder from the Under 16's age group. The club acted quickly and informed FootballCV of their interest and the scouts number has now been passed onto the player's parents with a view to speaking about options to come in to the club for an extended trial period.
League Two side Bradford City felt the stand out player on the day was a Goalkeeper in the Under 18's age category, enough so for the scout insisting his club contact details to be passed on by FCV to the father of the player for them to discuss options.
Blue Square Bet Conference Premier side Braintree Town highlighted seven players from the Over 18's age group on the day who interested them. A goalkeeper, two defenders and four midfielders all caught the eye of the scout on the day and have now all been invited to attend pre-season training with the club.
