Manchester United FC and England
Chris registered with Football CV in April 2006, when playing for non-league club Maidstone. Smalling’s performances at the non-league club attracted many scouts and Premiership side Fulham had him watched six times in the space of four weeks he was handed a chance in a reserve team game. Within 15 minutes Fulham Manager Roy Hodgson, watching on the sidelines, had seen enough and offered him a professional contract.
Hull City AFC and Republic of Ireland
Currently playing in the Premier League for Hull City and also represents the Republic of Ireland. David first joined and participated at a FootballCV trials day in May 2004. Following this, he went on to play for Sunderland in the Premier League before signing a three year contract at Hull City in January 2013.
Dan is another FootballCV Member plying his trade in the Barclays Premier League, after a reported £350,000 move from non-league side Darlington. The 6’ 6” defender from Northumberland first registered with FootballCV in March 2010.
Peterborough United FC
Britt is a talented and physical goalscoring forward who currently plays for League One side Peterborugh United after a big money move from Watford. He first became a FootballCV Member in April 2007.
Sheffield Wednesday FC
Giles first registered as a FootballCV member in April 2003 and attended Trials Day events at both Sutton United and Charlton Athletic where scouts first became aware of his talents. Since then Giles went on and played for Kingstonian in the Conference before making the move in to league football firstly with Mansfield then onto Northampton Town in League 2 and has recently made the move to Scottish Premiership side Motherwell.
Yeovil Town FC
Byron registered with FootballCV in April 2007, after being released by Conference side York City. A scout representing Czech team FK Banik Most seen the players CV on the website and invited him to travel to the Czech Republic to take part in a trial.
Notts County FC
The London-born defender first registered as a FootballCV member in March 2004 and since then has progressed through the non-league game to now star for Notts County. Before making his move to Notts County, Mustapha enjoyed spells at Crystal Palace, Portsmouth, Doncaster Rovers and Crawley Town.
Gary moved to Rochdale AFC from Brighton & Hove Albion in 2013. The Irish midfielder was a regular for Championship side Brighton having previously played for Birmingham City and Stockport County and at youth level for his country. Gary registered with FootballCV in 2004.
Northampton Town FC
The Irish central midfielder came on board with FootballCV back in June 2004 when playing in his native country. Gary then went on to play for Coventry City for two years before signing for Hibernian in the Scottish Premier League and currently plays for League Two side Northampton Town.
