UNITED SIGN EX-MEMBER FOR £10 MILLION!

For over ten years FootballCV has helped hundreds of players progress with their football career but Chris Smalling is by far the highest profile member FootballCV have had on their books.

“Whilst we can’t make claim that Chris came through one of our Trials Days, as many of our success stories have, he became a member in April 2006 and it should give belief and hope to other members in their late teens what can happen in football in such a short space of time.” commented Graham Starmer of FootballCV.

Smalling was playing for non-league Maidstone United only 18 months ago ending up at Fulham where in his few performances he caught the eye of both Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger with United winning the battle to sign the highly promising centre-back.

United have allowed Smalling to return back to Fulham for the remainder of the season on loan before joining his new United team mates in the Summer.

For FootballCV it’s another example of what can be achieved for it’s thousands of members and hope during its tenth year there will be other success stories like this.
