MORE MEMBERS IMPRESS!
16 year old FootballCV Member Danny Kelly from Surrey, was spotted by Grimsby Town at one of our recent ‘Trials Day Events’. The Blue Square Conference Premier side were impressed enough with Danny to offere him the chance to attend extended trials at the club. Danny also received an offer of a scholarship place at the Cardiff City Academy and has spent the last part of the 2010/11 season at Premiership side Fulham, where he bagged an impressive 11 goals in 4 matches.
The six feet tall forward has also been selected to represent England Schoolboy Under 16's in a tournament in Gothenburg, Sweden which starts on 15th July, so we wish him well and will continue to monitor his progress.
Blue Square Conference Premier club Grimsby Town have taken player details of eight FootballCV members. Over the past few years, ‘The Mariners’ have been passionate believers in FootballCV and Chief Scout Dave McNish said; “Grimsby have seen the value of attending the FootballCV Trials Days and being able to vies players CV’s on the website, as in recent seasons we have taken a number of players on trial and a current member of our Under 16’s side came through the FootballCV Trials Days”.
