"Four Four Two have worked with FootballCV for several years now in particular with 'Weekend Wonders' where they organised for the winners to play at grounds like Upton Park. They are the market leaders in running trials for aspiring footballers and the full-time academy they operate provides a marvelous opportunity for players to fulfil their dreams of becoming a pro player. We are delighted to be the Football Academy shirt sponsors for the 2009/10 season. We have also had the opportunity for the 442 team to play at pro clubs in corporate matches and believe our relationship will continue to go from strength to strength"
Mark Hanrahan | Commercial Director, Four Four Two
“If this was not for footballcv this would only have been a dream. Thank you so much for everything”.
The parents of nineteen year old Ryan Marriott after he played for TNS in the UEFA Cup against Lithunian side Suduva FC in July 2008.
"I visited the FootballCV Academy in 2009 and was very impressed with the set-up. The facilities are fantastic and the coaching of a high standard. I'm sure the FootballCV Academy will be adding to its success stories in the future."
Matty Fryatt - current Leicester City striker and League One Player of the Year for 2009.
"The two trials George attended organised by FootballCV, at Northwich Victoria and Leicester City gave George experience, confidence and belief and of course the opportunity to be seen by scouts."
Glen Jones, George's father spoke about the two FootballCV trials his son attended before signing for Manchester City.
"I just wanted to thank you all at footballcv for your trial days that we have attended; they have managed to get Jordan on his way to hopefully a promising career in football which has been his dream from a young age". Jordan has signed for one year at Peterborough United with a view to progressing on to better things. It's not about being at the top clubs; it's about getting your foot on the ladder, playing other clubs of a higher standard and getting yourself out there, learning and working hard. Only then will you learn what its like, but if your good enough and you want it, Footballcv can get you on your way, but don't give up if it doesn't happen straight away we've been members for years and its been worth the wait!"
Richard Arnold on Jordan Robertson's behalf after he generated great interest following his performance at the Leicester City Trials Day with over 6 clubs chasing his signature from the Premiership down to the Conference before signing for a year with ambitious Division 2 side Peterborough United.
“We were very impressed with the number of hits on his profile page in such a short period of time and you are doing a wonderful job helping youngsters to fulfill their dreams. Keep the good work up and best wishes for the future.”
Samuel Dickin, who was invited for trials at Ipswich Town and Plymouth Argyle. He subsequently undertook a six week trial period at Plymouth Argyle and was signed by them.
"I must take this opportunity to thank everyone at Football CV on Liam's behalf on what has been a fantastic couple of months in Liam's life. Liam is like every thirteen year old boy in the country and aspires to be a professional footballer. Football CV has given him a chance to fulfil his dream. He thoroughly enjoyed the Trials Day - it was a fantastic experience and very well organised. Keep up the great work!"
Mr Noon, father of Liam Noon. Liam had only been a member for a month before he was spotted and subsequently invited to Bolton Wanderer's Academy.
"Joe is over the moon and on his behalf i would like to thank footballcv for all the good work they are doing for kids like him. Joe attracted the attention of Terry Neill, the ex-Arsenal Manager who was acting as a footballcv panelist at the Dagenham & Redbridge Trials Day. When he was told by Southend that he was being signed his face lit up and if that wasn't enough they have told him that his first game next season will be against Manchester United in a pre-season friendly. It doesnt get any better".
Mark Shelden, father of Joseph Shelden who after a five week trial with the Southend United School of Excellence was offered a one year place at the First Division leaders for the 2006/7 season.
FootballCV.com "Thanks guys, we are all really looking forward to this evening. I have passed on your kind message to him and he is really grateful and pleased. Rodney will always plug footballcv wherever possible! He has in fact been asked by several of his friends all about footballcv and hopefully they are going to use footballcv as well. He also knows that Keith Alexander and Tommy Taylor are going to be watching with interest from Peterborough's hotel in Liverpool! So no pressure at all really!!! Rod always speaks highly of football CV and is a true ambassador for you guys."
David Hicks, father of footballcv.com member Rodney Hicks, who appeared live on Sky Sports 1 playing for Kings Lynn against Oldham Athletic in the FA Cup Second Round. Rodney, twenty years of age, signed for Second Division Peterborough United in November 2006 and loaned him out to Kings Lynn to gain some first team experience.
“As soon as we registered Thomas with footballcv.com and he attended his first Trials Day the calls soon started coming in. He thoroughly enjoyed the day and we felt it was very professionally run – it was made all the better by the subsequent offer to join the Academy at Ipswich Town F.C. It is a great concept and we are very happy that Thomas has found such a great club as a result of footballcv.com.”
Pat McGowan, father of member Thomas McGowan.
“My son has been a member for some time now and has attended three footballcv trial days. Attending the trials this gave him the confidence that I felt he needed. It is not easy playing with people you do not know and trying to impress at the same time. Kevin was then scouted by Bristol Rovers and was taken on a six week trial period and subsequently signed for them. I believe that footballcv.com gave him the opportunity to taste football trials which prepared him well. Although Kevin has not attended anymore trials since he will remain a member of footballcv.com and indeed he will renew his membership next year. I cannot state enough how important it is to give yourselves an edge and I believe with footballcv.com it does that by:
a) Giving you the experience to play with strangers
b) Placing you at the front of the shop window in perfect surroundings
c) Getting the right people at the matches to watch you I thank footballcv.com for those opportunities"
Mr Roper, father of footballcv member Kevin Roper.
I registered both my sons on footballcv.com and it wasn't long before they both attended a Trial Day in September. Giles played really well and I was so proud when he was whisked off the field after the match by two scouts. Giles went to Bristol City for a weeks trial, and has since played against Arsenal and Fulham Under 19s. Thank goodness I discovered footballcv.com!"
Mrs Coke, mother of footballcv member Giles Coke.
"My son Kieran has always wanted to be a footballer, but it is not that easy to get noticed by clubs. He joined footballcv.com in August 2002 and went to a Trials Day at Kettering Town's ground in October. A scout from Manchester City was present and through footballcv made contact and arranged for Kieran to have further trials with the club. On November 10th he made his debut for Manchester City's Academy against Sheffield Wednesday. I can't speak highly enough about footballcv.com. They have given Kieran the opportunity he wanted. It really is a fairytale come true."
Mrs Davies, mother of footballcv member Kieran Davies.
"I would like to thank you and your staff for a great day at Sutton United. From these trials Danny was invited to Grimsby Town for a six week trial. His dream like many boys is to be a footballer and these trials give them a chance to show what talents they have in front of professional football scouts. Once again thank you to footballcv.com and keep up the good work so other boys can fulfil their dreams."
Mr Love, father of footballcv member Danny Love.
“We attended the Reading Trials Day and I just wanted to say how impressed I was with the professionalism of the coaches. They could see from kick off that my son wasn't seeing any of the ball as a forward in the match, so they took the decision to play him at right back within the first 15 minutes. I thought it a strange decision at the time, as I had paid for my son to trial as a forward, however it was a great professional decision by a coach. It shows that quality staff are used at FootballCV.com. I also heard scouts talking about Ryan, so made it even more worthwhile. I Just wanted to say a big thank you, we will be signing up for more trial days.”
"I just wanted to send a quick note with my thanks and appreciation for the Easter Camp that you recently held in Kettering. Andrew and I returned to Australia today and he has not stopped talking about the time and experiences that he had while on the camp and he is even more determined now to follow his dream to become a professional, even if means having to get a haircut!! Once again I would like to thank you for the fantastic opportunity that you give to the young men that attend your camps and trial days from all over the world."
Mother of Australian FCV Member.
"Just a quick note to thank you for arranging the Tottenham Assessment day. Very well organised and managed. Well worth the trip in from Munich. I enjoyed it very much."
Alex Ritson - footballcv member.
“Having been at West Bromwich Albion as a schoolboy and then Rushden & Diamonds from 16 – 18 years of age I spent a year trying to find another club. I then appeared in several trials organised by footballcv.com and almost immediately began to attract interest from clubs including playing reserve games for Chesterfield against the likes of Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United. I also appeared on Sky Sports. No doubt this was down to footballcv – not only their trials but also the way they alert clubs to it’s members. It is encouraging that the over 18 year old members also benefit.”
Jonathon Adams – footballcv member.
