Forthcoming Trials Camps
What Does The Soccer Camp Consist Of?
There are two options for players, either Fully Residential for the week or as a Day Student. This FootballCV Trials Camp has been designed to give players the ideal preparation and opportunity to develop all areas of their performance, culminating in a final day ‘Trial Match’, in-front of invited Managers, Coaches and Scouts from Professional and Semi-Professional clubs.

Based at a Professional Football Club, it means FootballCV Trials Camp staff have all top-quality facilities at their ‘finger-tips’, therefore we can create a fantastic environment for players to develop their performance and ability levels. We have use of a number of top-quality outdoor grass, outdoor astro-turf and indoor pitches. The meals provided are of high quality and are based on a professional footballers diet.
The camp will include:
Previous Camps
The FootballCV February half-term 2008 trials camp was a resounding success with players particularly praising the quality of the coaching and forming a great bond with head coaches Kevin Wilson and Danny Nicholls.
The week had consisted of coaching sessions throughout the week including strength and conditioning sessions and dutch-style sessions with Coerver Coaching.
In the evenings the players were delivered talks from a sports psychologist, nutritional advice from Fat Chance UK, life as a professional player from Steve Howard (Leicester City) and advice on how to make it as a pro from Paul Brackwell of Aston Villa FC Academy.
The campers also enjoyed a five-a-side tournament and a playstation pro-evo football tournament.
The week then culminated in trial matches on the Friday in front of scouts from Aston Villa, Leicester City, Blackburn Rovers, Ipswich Town, Grimsby Town and Rushden & Diamonds.
All players who attended also received a written evaluation of their performance as well as their free FootballCV t-shirts and water bottles.

All the staff have been extremely accomodating. Nick described the coaching to be second to none and relished every minute, he has learnt lots of new things and feels he has grown from the experience and also made lots of new friends and is already talking to me on the phone to organise next years trip!
